We put our toy car ,the 87 Toyoto Celica Roadster , on the Tasman Ferry for a little over two weeks to do a circuit of our southern island .

We had never been around the bulk of this island . we had been to Launceston when Debbie was involved in Fusion and their conference center at Poatina .
My Cousin on mums side Barbara, has and beautiful B and B set up at Beauty Point on the Tamar River and one of our Grandkids, Stephanie, has settled in Launceston so it has become time to visit and see what this island has to offer.
WE arrived early in Devonport terminal about daylight and we awoken before 6 am to get ready to disembark. When our car deck was called we made our way to the car and did not have to wait long and we were asked to drive off .
Barbara flagged us that a good place for breakfast was the Cadbury chocalate museum and restaurant that opened very early and we had a great breakfast, there and put Beauty Point in the GPS and enjoyed the rolling hills and bendy roads east through the famous Beaconsfield town and onto the Tamar
Its only a small island and so much to see and appreciate . Places like Devonport, Beaconsfield,
Tamar River, Launceston. Legerwood, St Helens, and the beautiful East coast to Hobart with Mt
Wellington and down to Port Arthur , overland to Queenstown and Strahan, MacQuarrie Harbour ,
the Gordon River. Up to Cradle Mountain , the Tassie Devil and Quoll Sanctuary to Burnie and the
Stanley “NUT” to complete the circle and catch the ferry at Devonport home .
we were even involved in a Ukraine War demonstration in Hobart where Alison was the guest
speaker!
