After three days we went through the checkpoint on the Allenby Bridge into Israel with little problem and then onto Quamran and Jericho and all the way up to Tiberious on the sea of Galilee for three days of course this was a different Bus a month old Volvo and a new translator and Driver and Translater was a Palestinian Christian well versed in the tensions of the area. had to go through a checkpoint again into Israely territory from the west bank Palistiinian area.
The next day saw us on a boat in the Sea of Galilee.it was smooth as and we sang some appropriate hymns and some versed\s were read that took us back 2000 years on the same lake . It is all a bit of a whirl now as we spent more time in Caperneum Jesus,s Favorite town and saw what could have been Peters House and the excavations of the synague
Around Nazareth and the Church of the Ununciation. The Jezreel valley is fertile and productive and we enjoyed a lunch of the delicacy a whole Peters fish as we had done last time we were in the area.
The excavated mosaic floors tell stories back to the Biblical times both old and New testament.
The Challengers of travelling are always with us . we lost our multiple power board with the Australian plugs at Amman after being being through many other checkpoints they decided our power board did not comply so we are down to one plug charging point and pretty slow wifi so the lack of pics here . Next time we get some speed I will upload some more pics and now I find my phone card although very cheap won,t call mobiles at home .????
