Odessa

Probably our favorite city in Ukraine with its tree lined boulivards and port area .
Our main contact here is the Grace Church regional Baptist Church with its large vision and ancillary camp site on the Black sea its orphanage and transition House for young adults .
Igor Kucher was our main host and we enjoyed their Sunday services ,saw their transition House that we had the privelage to do some work on a couple of times we were here . In the evening he and his family took us for a tour of the downtown area which was abuss with seemingly thousands of people enjoying the summer evening and we had dinner at a pizza café. saw the opera house etc .
On the Monday we drove out to Nicaliav area to see one of the farms that Lawrence Richmond from our area in Australia is managing and we were hosted by his young Ukrainian manager Andrew who showed us the grain cleaning and receiving station on their farm and saw their crops and headers harvesting wheat.

On Tuesday we were taken out to see the Black sea campsite managed by this Church and orphanage by Igor.

This is a huge camp site, later in the year is hosting a youth congress of aroinging in English und two thousand delegates it is just past the huge Yuzhny grain terminal on the old nicaliav road. just had $130 mill US spent on it including ship loaders and has queues of trucks miles long waiting to unload.rove back to

we had  to hurry back lunch hosted by the orphanages and we entertained by the kids singing in English. not a language they use.  we drove back to Vinitsa on Wed .
