McEwen Farming and Family Stuff

Currently enjoying John and Leannes family in Cochrane , Alberta after driving up from the border yesterday .

Again on British Soil and back to the metric system . It sure is a bit confusing .

Dryland crops desperate for a final drink and flowers falling off Canola . Evidently there are floods in the mid west of the USA where they are trying to harvest and with dry condtions here the wheat price has spiked .Good news for us I guess but we need rain at home too and it looks like its pretty cold down there -2 c in Charlton last night.

Calgary is a big City now over 1 mill and has grown exponentionally since i was here in 1977.

Looking forward to the Stampede tonight , the area is buzzing and the Rockies just on the western Horizon it will be a big week
